Q: Will you choose a Toyota Yaris or a Honda Jazz?
I'm currently in a middle of a decision to get either a Yaris or a Jazz. I've test driven both and quite frankly I'm sure I won't lose with any descision. But which one is really the better choice? Why? I hope to get some actual driver opinions and not magazine reviews.
Cheers!
A: Jazz is the better choice... it also has higher re-sale value thank Toyota.
Q: Will a stock toyota yaris fit these tires?
I recently got brand new tires that are 195/70R14 for free, and im looking to sell them, my friend's mom's yaris is 175/65R14, would they fit on her car?
A: Sorry, but 195/70R14 is to large to fit on your friend's Yaris. You should use the money you make selling them to buy the correct size.
Q: Is a Toyota Yaris a good car for a teenager?
I'm 16 (almost 17) and my parents just bought me a toyota yaris without knowing much about it. I've had my license for almost a year so I'm a pretty decent driver.I assume since it's a toyota, it's reliable, and I know it gets good gas mileage, but how safe is it? I don't know much about cars, but so far all I've driven is a toyota prius. Is the yaris a good car for me? (they already bought it... so theres not much I can do about that)
A: Hey Sarah :
Hun a Toyota Yaris is your first car right? don't worry they are great cars anything Toyota is good. I know of a Toyota Truck that has 350,000 miles on it.
Good luck and smile you have a cute car.
Q: Does the toyota yaris come with height adjustable seats?
I test drove a yaris and the only thing i didn't like about it was how high the seat was and i forgot to ask. I haven't had time to go back and check does anyone know if they do?
A: Yes. I have the sedan model (I am not sure which one you test drove). Its on the left side of the drivers seat.
BTW-- I am in the US
Q: Is Toyota Yaris Sedan a good first car?
I am off to college soon and I need a car. I considered Toyota Yaris because its really cheap. But Is it safe?
A: its a great car and i think is way better to start with a cheap car for the first time to know how it works and for when you see a bmw or a mercedes you know that some day you will have those cars so you put some value on them.
though if you start with a expensive car like them you will not take a lot of value for them so if you see a yaris you will be like wtf.
All the cars are safe with some alcohol responsability
Hope it works for you
Q: Most effective way to adjust side mirrors on a Toyota Yaris to reduce blind spot?
I used to drive a Chevy Lumina and had no problems with my blind spot, but now I have a smaller car "Yaris" my blind spot is larger. I have adjusted so I can just see the end of my car. Is this best?
A: The passenger side needs to barely see the side of the car at the rear. I have a small convex mirror in my left side mirror to extend the vision outward towards the end of the next lane. You have to get used to it but its worth it. I have see convex mirrors that attach below the mirror as well. I drive a truck so I am used to checking two mirrors on each side.
Q: What kind of speakers can i Install in my Toyota Yaris '07?
My mom bought me an 07 Yaris (3door) and I would want to intall some kick A"" speakers, but I don't know what is suitable for this whip. Are any speakers suitable for any car? First comprehendable will be awarded the best answer...
A: Any speakers and amp would do, as long as the amp can pick up your speaker. I have a
Kicker 05CVR15-2 15" 1000W Dual 2-Ohm Subwoofer, ,just one!!
and a Lanzar VIBE251 2 Channel 1600 Watts Vibe Amplifier.
I drive a 95 cavalier and it fits perfect. Sound quality is good. Just remember if the amp has more watts the better the speaker may sound. Good Luck and have a Blast!!
Q: where can you buy a registration plate light for toyota yaris?
i have a modified car and have my mot next month i just realised that i dont have a light for my registration plate! does anyone no where i could get one? for a yaris year 2001 much appreciated!
A: probably your toyota dealer at a guess if they have the parts and service dept.
Q: What is the typical monthly payment on a Toyota Yaris?
And what was your interest percentage and for how many months, and how much trade in value did you have or how much did you put down on it?
Also, how much money do you make on a typical week?
How much does the amount of money you make affect the amount of loan money you're offered?
A: I'll go down the line and try to answer all of your questions:
$250-300.
Typical rate is 6-8%.
10% down is standard.
The more money that you make, the more comfortable a bank is that you will be able to make the payments, thus dropping the risk and then your interest rate.
Q: How can I purchase a Toyota Yaris Diesel in the United States?
I know it is not offered at U.S. dealerships, but are their ways to purchase and have it shipped here?
A: not sure...maybe call a toyota dealership and ask them if they know how to get ahold of one so they can steer you in the right direction...or look at auto trader..ebay...
Q: Is there any real difference between 73,000 miles and 51,000 miles on a 2007 Toyota Yaris, besides the obvious?
The one with 73,000 miles is a little cheaper ($500) then the other one, and the budget is a little tight. But if we go the higher mileage car, should we be concerned that it has 22,000 more miles? Both cars are in good condition. Toyota experts answer away!
A: well i own a toyota my self and mine so far hasn't let me down i have a 1991 tercel and i love it! but in your question you have to ask what kind of driving the cars have been doing. it makes a difference if it's highway driving or stop and start in a city or town driving (stop and start is harder on the cars more wear and tear) i would also ask why they are selling the car in the first place and look at the maintenance of the car and see if they have kept up with the oil changes, etc.(any paper work). my mentality is that even brand new cars break down and it really depends on the wear and tear and also the quality of the car. also depends on who has owned it before you, old lady vs a young teenager (sorry to say but we don't really care if the car won't run in 5 years we want to have fun now! lol). but if they have been relatively driven the same then well you have to look at the mileage and also the shape the cars and from what you can see like oil on the motor or possible fix it jobs. i know how hard it is to find a good car that will last so hope you get a good one!
Q: Is the new Toyota Yaris a good vehicle?
I am wanting to trade in my 2002 Dodge Ram Pickup that is a gas guzler for the new Yaris. Is this a good idea?
A: I think is very expensive and the size is very small, better a Focus or a Cobalt or a Corolla or Civic. Better deals and more space.
Q: looking to buy a small automatic, toyota yaris or nissan micra both autos which is best?
which is the better car the nissan micra auto or toyota yaris auto, same year and mileage?
A: To be fair i have only owned Nissan's and atm iam on my second Nissan Auto which has been great, overall we are on our 5th Nissan and going for another next time we change.
Q: I connect ipod in my car toyota yaris, but only one side have the music on, what might be the problem?
I use a male connector and i try fully plug it in, but everything there will only be one side of the speakers in the car have sound, the left side. Needs help to clearify!
A: Your cable may be bad or it might not be the right cable. If you look at the plugs, you should be able to see three contacts, one at the tip, and then two more down the probe. If there are only two contacts, it's a mono plug, not stereo.
Q: Why the odometer in the centre cluster in some car design like the Toyota Yaris?
Wouldn't it be more distracting to look in the center instead of in the straight ahead Point of View? Just curious.
A: Distracting? no. You get used to its location pretty quickly after driving a car like that for a little bit.
Supposedly, the instrumentation is placed up and in the center position to help with eye focus times. For some people, it may even be in their peripheral vision, so no refocusing is necessary. For most people, it is faster/easier to focus from the road (long distance) to the center cluster (closer) and back to the road, as opposed to the road/behind the steering wheel (even closer location)/back to road. Faster focusing times means less time for your eyes off of the road. Faster focusing times also means less night-blindness, too.
And for some people and car designs, having the instrumentation in the center cluster just makes it easier to view as opposed to it hiding behind the steering wheel. You don't have to peek behind the steering wheel, or wait to complete a turn where the steering wheel is blocking your view of the instrumentation hiding behind it.
