movie you must be jealous. It's a minted car! Stunning! Anyway the question was for Supra drivers and what it feels like.
A: Great a drivers car, meaning all the dash is pointed to you but makes it feel like the car is yours(like a cockpit) and well put together for that reason.
Easy to drive although is rwd so not so fun in slippery conditions will all rwd cars.
I felt lacks a little torque but would depend on model mods and how are is truly running.
Nice cars with a great name for themselves, very tuneable and head turning looks.
Lacks any room for rear passengers shame really.
To movie i dont think he ask that question.Golfs exec person car and look small and very fat .yuk yuk yuk.
Q: i want to increase the performance of my 87 toyota supra?
i bought a 87 supra with 124 k miles on the original engine. it gets 16-17 miles in the city and 22 on the highway.
can i change this?
what mods can i do to increase my mpg on this car [ even if its not that much it would make a difference]
and also
what mods can i do to make it more powerful like increasing horsepower?
A: a new high performance intake, a k&n air filter, denso spark plugs, a highperformance exhaust and computer tuning will give you both economy and more power.
but for just power a turbo is the way to go if you want serious horsepower.
Q: How much would a very low mileage 98 toyota supra twin turbo engine cost and where could i find it?
A: I have no idea where you could find it, but I bet it would cost $10,000, if not $15,000.
Q: How fast should my 91 toyota supra do the quarter mile it has 660+ hp and a racing transmission?
is there a website to help me set the gear ratio.IT ONLY DOES LOW 12's AT BEST
My supra has turbochargers that are probly worth more than your life and all racing parts boy
A: With 660 hp it should go in the 10's with slicks. That car comes with 3.55 gears with a 6 speed. Do you want more or les off the line? Just go a little higher or lower.
Worry about traction not gears.
Q: Why did they stop making the Toyota supra, i really wanted 1!?
Do you think they will make a new toyota supra?
What was wrong with the old ones?
can you guys give me more info,
A: The Supra officially ended production across the world in 2002 and in 1998 in the USA. In the USA, the Supra, at the time, was considered an overpriced boat. The Supra was technologically years ahead of most cars around that day and was way over engineered causing the high price.
A new Supra is a RUMOR. In fact, Toyota has stated repeatedly that they will NOT release a car under the Supra name ever again. Toyota is trying to completely be recognized a company more eco friendly and will not release a car like the Supra ever again. But there is a Lexus concept called the LF-A which will be a supercar in terms of price, power, and luxury. It will be a $100k + car.
Q: Do you think In 4 years they will remake the toyota supra?
Well my dad got a Road and Track magazine and I saw that they are going to remake the Skyline GT-R and I flipped!
A: I have seen some pics of the possible new Supra but at the moment its just a concept car,and hasn't been said to be the Supra, but car reviewers seem sure it will be.
Hopefully they will there great cars,my wife is mad on the Mark 4 version,we went to buy one but the back seat was to small as in isn't there, but with a family it was was a sad no
although my friend just had one.
site showing possible new one

Q: Difference between Toyota Supra and Toyota Supra Turbo?
I know nothing when it comes to dealing with cars but i'm looking to buy a Supra. I know that a Supra with turbo is obviously going to be faster than a non-turbo but is there that much of a difference? Are the non-turbo's just as good?
A: I've just bought a 1993 non-turbo Supra and its awesome, I love it so much, its by far the best car i've ever had.
Originally I wanted a turbo one but as the non turbo was a third of the price, I decided to get that so I could see if I liked the Supra in general for comfort & handling etc then if I liked it I was going to sell it and get a turbo. But I have found the non turbo is fast, heaps lighter than the 3000GT I nearly bought and handles better than any car i've driven, so I will stick with the non turbo. Also I dont have the worry of turbo problems, esp as the Supras are getting old now, and I can spend the extra money on more go-fast bits for it.
The other thing is that with the Supras, speed is only one of their attractions. I dont know if you've driven one or not but theyre quite luxurious, built like tanks, super reliable with very strong engines, handle like theyre on rails and have one of the best dash boards of any car (under $100k apparently). The quality of them is really up there for a jap car.
I havent driven the turbo model so I cant compare them sorry but the links below have comparisons & opinions.

Good luck :)
PS definitely get a Supra theyre awesome and dont let anyone talk you out of it.
Q: Is there really going to be a new Toyota Supra?

A: Yes
Q: What's the body peice in front of the hood but above the bumper on a toyota supra mkII?
The peice is a metal panel that is just in front of the headlights on the top of the nose. Thanks for any help!!!
It's not the grille it's above the grille.
A: its called the header panel
Q: anyone know anything about toyota supra features?
i have a toyota supra 3.0 litre non turbo automatic import and it has a little red button on side of gearstick and a button at side of gearbox which says ''MANU'' on it.when i press the red button it says on dash ''overdrive off''. i just wanted advice on what both these buttons actually do and which way i should have buttons set for better fuel consumption etc.
thanks to anyone who can help.
A: Looking at an '88 owners manual, there are two buttons that can affect the shifting of the Supra 3.0 litre Automatic.
The first is the Overdrive Switch on the shifter handle. It should be kept "On" (pressed in) for the best fuel economy. In this position, the RPM's in top gear (4th in a 4 speed or 3rd in a 3 speed transmission) will drop and reduce fuel consumption. The only times that you would turn the Overdrive off, is if the transmission is shifting gears up and down continually as you drive up a slope, and if you desire to use engine braking as you slow down from highway speeds.
The second switch is "Driving Pattern Selector Switch". This switch allows you to control the transmission shift time. If the switch is pressed down the transmission will shift at higher RPM's giving more powerful acceleration. If it is out, the transmission will shift normally. For best fuel economy, this switch should be left in the out position.
Have fun with a great car.

Q: I want to build a Toyota Supra . . .Need Help . . .And Suggestions?
Yes i want to build a Toyota Supra. I have unlimited funds and want to build a Supra. I want to know whats the best year for the Supra and what i should do to get started and going. I need resources. Ex. Where to find a project car like that, parts, accessories, the whole deal. All Help is Welcomed
A: Try and find someone who really put the effort in to their Supra... maintained it.. upgraded it.. regular serviced it.. ect ect... and who now wants to sell. Much less effort, and probably alot cheaper. They you can do your own little touches.
Q: For the Toyota Supra what year and model had the fastest engine?
If you could post a link to a picture that would help.
thanks
A: Tommy Banh is The Man with Texas-sized huevos and 1128 wheel horsepower under his right heel. "I set out to push the limits of a street car," Tommy said. "And the next thing I knew I was screaming past 200 mph and setting the Ultimate Street record." Tommy's shop, Autobanh Motorsports, was founded in 2004 and has played a role in the development of many high-power Supras.
Tommy's Supra once again solidifies the 2JZ-GTE as one of the all-time great engines. Tommy's engine features a stock crankshaft that has been knife-edged by G&G Performance, who also handled all the block and head machining. The 2JZ is stuffed with Autobanh-spec Weisco pistons, Carrillo H-beam rods and is held together with custom Autobanh Polydyn-coated bearings and ARP hardware. The short block is topped with a port-matched and polished head infested with top grade hardware. Ferrea 1mm-over stainless steel valves, titanium retainers and double spring valvesprings are actuated by 280-degree HKS bumpsticks. A pair of Unorthodox Racing cam gears are on call to fine tune the timing.
Q: How much would a Toyota Supra cost?
I live near L.A. in California and I want to know where I can find a Supra at a dealership.
A: The latest Supra's from the 1990's that competed with the R34 Nissan Skyline cost $20,000, even if they are not the turbo model and have 100,000 miles on the engine.
Prices go up to $65,000.
The reason why they are so expensive is not just because they are Japanese high end sports cars, but they are very rare in America. Not many were made and most of them were crashed.
I have seen Supra's for sale by dealership on autotrader and cars.com
Also try autobytel.com and vehix.com
Q: What kind of toyota supra should i buy?
i wanna get a toyota supra but i really want to modifie the car maybe even 1500 HP i dont know which one to get the stock no turbo, single turbo or twin turbo someone help me please i dont know what to do i am willing to pay 75k just on buying the car and also modifing it remember i want it stock
A: I have a 91 turbo that needs finished! You can make it what you want. It has the 7M-GTE engine. Let me know. If not this one, you should probably be looking for a 93-02 twin turbo. Make sure it has the 2JZ Engine in it. As for the horse power, 1500 will kill you. If not literally, it will kill your wallet. As a dialy driver, you will be replacing clutches left and right, probably go through a few transmisisons, and you will have to replace tires almost monthly because you won't be able to control it leaving a stop light or stop sign without burning the rubber off.
I'm serious about the 91 though.
