Q: How much would an engine for a toyota celica cost?
I'm thinking about buying a used manual toyota celica, but i think it needs a new engine. How much would this usually cost? It's a 1996 if that effects anything.
A: You should be able to buy remanufactured engines directly from Toyota dealers. Expensive! Or you can go to a salvage yard and buy a used, or wrecked car with engine and transmission for around $1000 plus labor.The number of miles on the car will affect the price significantly. Be sure you get the same type of engine/transmission from the salvage car as your Celica manual.

A: I own a Toyota Celica GT and I'm a girl but that doesn't mean anything. I'm a college student and i get compliments all the time from guys about how awesome my car is, even when i'm picking my sister up from high school i notice lots of guys checking out my car and even a few have asked if its for sale. If you like it you should get it, i love mine! its a really reliable car. the only problem is it sucks on snow and ice so if you get snow or ice where you live... put bags of sand in trunk so you dont spin off the road!!
Q: how to use the car key to bypass the security ignition in a toyota celica?
I have a toyota celica where I have to click on the beeper before I put the key in the ignition otherwise the key won't ignite the car - I think it's a part of the security feature. However now that my beeper is broken and I can't start my car by just turning the key - is there a way around this or do I have to wait till I replace the beeper?
A: you should still be able to cycle the door lock cylinder with the key to cancel the alarm. If that does not work, the switch in the drivers lock may be bad. Try the passenger door and again try to start the car. This should give you an idea to what is going on. Good Luck---SB
Q: Wheels that would look good with a Toyota Celica?
I have a 2000 Toyota Celica, and i am wondering if anybody knows any wheels that would look sick on a toyota celica, all i know is that i want the wheels to be 17' inches, and less than $150 each. Im only 16 so im asking cause i really dont know what will look cool on my car.

Q: Is it a good idea to get the toyota celica even though they stopped making it?

A: I have a '95 Celica and I have no problem with parts. There are SO many dealer, oem and junkyard parts that you shouldn't ever have a problem. The more common the car, the more common the part.

i have a 2001 toyota celica gts and i can't lock my doors with the remote. i can still lock/unlock and set the alarm by manually locking the door from the outside with the key. and there is nothing wrong with the remote.

A: You have a problem with door lock motor, I don't know what its actually called. It just wears out and needs to be replaced. I know because my door was starting to wear out slowly before it finally died. So i suggest you get it replaced at a momma papa shop. Also the switch in the middle may also go out 2.
Q: How do i take the passenger side door panel off of my 91 toyota celica?

The passenger side door wont open from the outside so i had my friend who is a mechanic look at it he took the door panel off and found out that the clip was broken, so i went and bought the clip and am trying to take the door panel back off and cant seem to figure it all oout on how to get the whole door panel off. How much would it cost to replace a front bumper of a 2000 toyota celica if I went to a body shop. Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I've seen the bumpers cost about 300 but how much would the labor be to put one on?
A: it is SOOO east u can put it on urself without paying some 1 all u need to do is unbolt some stuff save some money and do it ur self damn it isent hard and they front bummper is about 50-150 at junk yards depends where u go u can also cheack craigslist
