Q: How much will I pay for damage on a 2008 Nissan 350z?
I got into a parking lot collision today.
The car I hit was a 2008 Nissan 350z. The door was banged up pretty good, and doesn't quite close properly.
The body of the car has no damage.
I'll probably be paying the owner cash for the damage. How much should I expect to pay if they need to replace the whole door? How much should I expect to pay if they can pop out the dents, repaint and fix the hinges?

A: Turn it over to your insurance. It will be higher than you think. I had a lady back into my truck just behind the front tire. Put a dent in it the size of a Soft ball. and crushed into the door. Had to fix dent and paint fender and door . It was $1500.00. So you may be looking at that or more being its a new car............md
Q: Is it safe to put a Nissan 350z through a Car Wash?
I have a nissan 350Z 2007 and its pretty low to the ground. I am affraid that if i put it into an automatic car wash that it will scrap the bottom of the fenders. Has anyone put a low suspension car into a automatic car wash with no problems?
BTW the car comes lowered STOCK its a NISSAN 350Z...
A: Yeah, but the underside of each and every make and model of car differs. I would measure your ride height and check the car wash prior.
I mean if it's that much of a problem I would just wash it in the driveway, to be blunt

Q: Are there plans to replace the current Nissan 350Z?
Is there going to be a replacement anytime soon? The 350Z has been around for a while now (almost 5 years) and other Nissan VQ35DE cars have been replaced or refreshed since then.
A: There is serious consideration to replace the 350Z by Nissan. But they may keep it and add a new sports cars to their line up like this:

Q: How to program a nissan 350Z key blank? Not the Key FOB?
Hi I have been on many internet forums to check out the Nissan 350Z key programming and everytime they just mention the Keyfob and not the key by itself. I guess the key provided with Nissan has a chip in it. So how do I program that key with the chip. Again I am not talking about the key FOB. Also, I want to do it myself and not pay the premium at the dealer. So please DIY people answer only.
A: Some computerized lock-smiths can do it. I work for Nissan and hook up a Consult 2 Device and get a pin read or the 5 digit number from the BCM and enter that number into the Asist Computer to generate a code. Then Gather up all the owners keys and start introducing the keys to the car up to five can be programed. If a non regristered key is used four times the car will lock out all the keys. Imobilizer Keys (chip keys) should be programed at the Nissan Dealership or advanced lock-smith. No "do it yourself" DIY available

FTR, I searched the internet, but most of the sources are now about the 370Z. I want to know what each nissan 350z packages come with,(everything detailed) such as base model, enthusiast, touring, grand touring, nismo. Put in detail if you can or help me find a site?
A: You can find out more information at nissanusa.com or nissanuk.com however because 350z have been replaced the new 370z packages (trim levels are a little different) Base model is what that implies no frills no extras regular brakes non electric cloth seats no side air bags. Enthusist nore stuff like upgraded sterio better seat electric fore and aft and tilt. Mechanical passengers seat side curtin air bag. With each level more stuff. also the heavier the car gets. Some may like brake jobs that cost $4,000 (brembo set of four rotors and pads) Some like Stop Tech aftermarket brakes. Most real Sports car drivers could not care less about electric leather heated seats and would remove all the interior and air bags anyway to save weight and bolt in a roll cage. Nismo is a body kit on a loaded 350Z but there are special suspension upgrades and the car is stiffer and rides harshly

A: if ur talkin about the normal un-tuned 350-Z it should of been unlocked already
level 4 means when ur in the 4th stage. to complete a stage finish the races needed to get the contract u signed with
Q: Cheap discs and break pads for Nissan 350z Japanese import?
I have a Japanese Import Nissan 350z, and need to replace the front break pads and discs, plus the rear break pads. Have managed to track down some cheap break pads, but the price of the discs seems ridiculous. Does anybody know of anywhere I can get hold of the front discs for a reasonable price.

I am torn apart deciding to buy either a nissan 350z or a mazda rx-8. I was wondering if anybody know how long does a nissan and a mazda can last for in mileage? A: The 350z i love them both but after reading all the reviews and seeing the z perform the z wins.
I would nt say no the either but for me the z first choice.
And value for money the z would win.
If your going to get one have you taken them both for a test run.
One may be the better car,but you know yourself car car can feel different in person.and drive different to each person.
Mileage on both cars they can reach high limits.

A: what you need is a water resistant "breathable" car cover. breathable means it won't trap moisture inside when you cover the car when it's wet or when the sun evaporates the water under the car causing the moisture to rise up between the car and cover. breathable covers will let the moisture evaporate through the cover. keeping the car waxed is very important.
Q: How to upgrade 2002 model Nissan 350z to have original rear view monitor ? ?
My 350z is 2002 model does not come with rear view monitor screen. Where can I buy that l rear view monitor as the OEM monitors will no fit the compartment enclosure well. Also where can i get parts to upgrade the steering wheels to have steptronic control buttons ?

A: Original equiptment manufacture OEM. Year model 2002 350Z was not introduced yet. That said steering wheel controls for transmission upshifts and down shifts? I would not be making and breaking electrical connections that close to the air bag. rear view monitor there are units that display in the car's rear view mirror. Available on the parts aftermarket and camera on the licence plate frame.

Some people have said the 07 350Z has been released to the dealers. I have checked two and they only had leftovers from 06.

A: You should be fine! My fiancee is 6'3 and not so little and fits just fine!! Go test drive one...they are nice cars!
