Q: How much does it cost to rent a Honda s2000 for a day?
Do I have to be 25 to rent it?
A: Yes, you have to be 25 to rent it. Your going to have to search hard to find an s2000 for rent. 1st because it's a manual car, and 2nd because there's not much demand for it. Try looking in luxury rental places.
Q: Can a Nissan Skyline R34 engine fit on a Honda S2000?
A: Ok the low down, items lark on S2Ki.com
People have swap LS1 into S2000, 2JZ and I even thought of buying a blow engine S2000 for $8000 and getting SR20DET front clip $3000 and swaping since they both small engines, and the SR can handle 500HP bottom end. Yes the RB26DETT will fit, but you need to possiably move the fire wall, trans tunnel etc. So in since it wouldnt be performance worth it. A stock turbo S2000 can handle 7-9psi depending on the size of the turbo, thicker head gasket and ARP head bolts up to 400HP. The cost for the swap is simple built the F engine and boost it.
Q: Generally; what kind of people do you see driving Honda S2000's?
A: I can break this down into several types....but I'll stick with the most common.
1. Rich teens who got the car on their B-Day but grind the crap out of it and don't change the oil...sad.
2. Rich older guys going through a mid life crisis who don't drive past 25mph with it.
3. Guys like me, who want to REALLY drive it, modify it, maintain it, and love it!
Unfortunately #1 and #2 are far more common than #3. So sad.

Is it possible to put a S2000 JDM engine into a Honda Del Sol and still have it run a front wheel drive set up? or would i have to convert the front wheel drive del sol into an rear wheel drive format?
A: Sell the Del Sol and buy a 2000.

A: you probably could but it would take alot of time and modifying
Q: What would win in a race? A Honda S2000? Or a Ford Mustang GT.?
im comtemplating over buying which car. I have 30k to buy one, and its obviosuly going to be slightly used. I want to know you guys opinions. what would win A STOCK S2000 Or a STOCK Mustang GT. I want to get the 2005 S2000 or a 2005 mustang. Let me know im looking for reasoning why and statistics. THANKS!
A: This would depend upon the type of race you want to compete in. The Mustang GT is a great muscle car, with a reliable power plant and decent suspension. I owned a 1999 GT that I modded with headers, H-Pipe, polished intake, cold air intake and Magna Flow mufflers. Sounded great, ran great and was incredible to drive.
But the sophistication of the Honda engine is not to be overlooked, and the suspension is much more of a true sports car suspension. If you want a car with completely neutral driving characteristics and can carve corners like a Porsche with little to no body roll, then the Honda is a better choice.
For drag strip racing, get the Mustang. For sport car canyon carving, you may want to consider the Honda. Both are stylish cars, find one of each to drive and see which you like better.
Q: What is the going rate for a Honda s2000?
In Australia.
A: hi there. i am a sales manager for a Honda dealership. although i work in the united states i can help you with some of the tools that are used when consumers come in here to get the best price from us. a very good site to look at on the Internet is www.carsdirect.com this site gives you an idea of what the market is out there and is especially useful for you cause you will be prompted to enter your zip code so it can tell you what the best prices are in your area. another site to get information is www.kbb.com but of the two i have found that carsdirect prices are alot lower and get source that customers use against me when they come in to get the "best deal" at my dealership.. hope that helps!
Q: Cramped feeling in honda s2000??
Well im about 5'11 and i am planning on getting a honda s2000. Is it going to feel really cramped, like legs close together and whatnot? i kno i should test drive one but if there are any owners, let me know how it feels. thanks
Also, what are some of the pros and cons of the s2000?
A: the 1st guy Nas, has no idea wha hes talking about so dont listen to him, a s2000 is like a grown up version of a prelude, a stock s2000 can kill a stock lude anyday. hes wrong again with girls jus owning them , a lot of my guy friends have s2000's some of them are crazy fast. my friend is 6'1 215 pounds and he has no problem with cramping or not having enough space in the s2000. it may seem small but it has a lot of room inside. the only CON most s2000 the new ones dont come with hardtops, you have to pay i think 4000 for one with a hardtop, pros are, the car handles great espically around corners, great accleration and performance, tons of aftermarket parts you can add to make it even quicker
Q: Honda S2000 roof operation?
The Honda S2000 manual says do not operate the roof with the engine running. Why is this? Is it purely safety or is there a technical reason?
Just to add, the roof does not operate unless the handbreak is on therefore it cannot be operated while the car is moving.
Thanks for your contributions but I will try once more. Do not forget that the roof will not operate with the hand brake on. It is therfore impossible to operate the roof whilst the car is moving. Why then do they bother to mention only operating the roof when the engine is stopped?
A: You can operate it with the engine running. just not moving. It is a safety feature.
Q: What car should I get when I grow up: TVR, Lotus, MG T-F, Honda S2000, or something else and why?
A: i agree with the guy who said "grow up first"
I think it all depend on how much you make or whos buying the car for you.
TVR and Lotus are really made for those very serious in sport cars because both cars usually have really light bodies such as the lotus elise or really powerfull engine TVR Chimiera.
MG T-F is a brittish made car but I think they stopped production a while ago so, it might be hard to maintain it.
Honda S2000 is a one of the favourite roadsters for sport cars fan due to its awesome naturally aspirated 2.2 liter engine that produce 250bhp. also due to it sporty looks and the availibilty of many after markets parts.
somethings else...
there is so many vehicles outthere, too many to be list down. you have to wait during the time when you are going to get or going to buy a car. Then we can discuss some more.
Q: Can a BMW 128i beat a Honda s2000 in a race?
A: depends on the type of the race. the S2000 has more HP and less weight, but the 128i has phenomanal handling. while the S2000 has great handling as well, its possible on a tight technical track for the 128i to win.
Q: Honda S2000 Air Filters Performance?
what would be better to put in a Honda S2000 and ARC super induction box or a K & N pod filter which of these are better?
A: I would definitely get the ARC induction box. Arc performance has a lot of history, technology, and R&D behind their products. Their gains are proven and are just a great addition for the engine bay. It however, costs a pretty penny. The K&N filter is a lot better than stock if youre looking for performance but will never measure up to the quality or performance of ARC.
If money is not a problem go with the ARC. You will not be disappointed and will love the sound!
Q: My boyfriend is buying a new Honda S2000. Is it comfy for passengers?
wondering how messed up my hair will get and how safe the passenger feels.
I'm 5' 7" and quite slim but only ever driven a convertible. If they grip the road the passenger should not get too uncomfy?
A: S2000 is excellent. It has the best balance of handling and comfort of any convertable in that price range. It can be a little small, but 5'7" is not too big for this car. I am 5'11" and I love it.
As far as the American VS. Foreign crap.....
Your mustang motor is built by Mazda of Mexico and the motor of the Pontiac Solstice is an Isuzu. And the glass of almost all cars, be it Honda, Chevy, Toyota, or anyone else, is made by Ford if the vehicle is assembled in the USA.
