Q: 1996 F355 VS 1995 Acura NSX?
1996 F355 vs 1995 Acura NSX which one do u like better? -I personally like the Ferrari but its way overpriced/very expensive to maintain/useful/ can't drive it daily/it's wider than NSX which I don't like NSX is way much cheaper/can drive it daily/much better quality inside/but its underpowerd/got small tires/and it's long.. What do u think

A: The first responder is completely mistaken. The Ferrari F355 is considered one the most iconic Ferrari's made, and will be seen as a lasting classic throughout the coming years. As far as overpriced - that's dependent upon how you look at it. If you're just looking for something that looks like a supercar, then obviously the NSX is the better priced. But if you're looking for the better car, in terms of pedigree, performance, style... There is no car from Japan that has yet to even kiss the feet of Ferrari in all of these.(Yes, I recognize that the Nissan GT-R is an incredible driving machine. It is, however, atrociously ugly both inside and out.

Q: Will any year of an Acura NSX fit into a 96 Acura Integra SE?

A: The problem you are going to have is the size of the engine. It is a 3.2 liter engine and it will be to big for the Integra. As of the drivetrain concerns, with some modifications you can make it work since the NSX is an MR (mid engined and rear drive car). This means that it works like a fwd drive car, it hooks up like fwd cars do. I have an MR2 and it uses Toyota FWD engines in it. And the NSX basically has the 3.2L engine from the Acura TL, the difference is that the NSX engine is DOHC and produces more power while the TL engine is SOHC. So in theory it will work, but a lot of work is needed.

Q: what is faster, a Acura NSX or a Porche 911 Carrera Gt ?

A: difficult question. If going fast in a straight line the Porche If going on a track then it may be the NSX It just depends on what you looking for. I used to have an old camaro with a V8 that could blow the doors of a 911... Even raced one down the freeway once and won quiet handily.... Of course that was in a straight line.... If I was on a track I would have been tasting his dust shortly after the first corner. YOu also didn't mention what tuning would be done to the cars... The 911 will have much more horsepower out of the box, and probably if you had unlimited tuning of both... but the NSX would be easier to drive and would behave better on the track. 911 are rear engine and those are a bit quirky compared to a mid engin like the NSX.

Q: whats a good prize for a 2005 ACURA NSX?

A: For a price, it would probably be around $80,000, depending on how many miles you have on it.

Q: New honda NSX, i thought it was acura nsx?
http://carversation.com/2007/12/20/honda-confirms-new-nsx-for-2010/

A: your right.... kind of the Acura NSX IS a Honda NSX, the ONLY difference is in America, they needed to put a different badge on the car. label whores in America will not pay 90,000 for a honda, no matter what. and the person who said "acura is the luxury vesion of honda" thats not exactly true,in some cases the acura version is more luxuroius but thats not the rule, it is just simply more money for a name.

Q: what kind of motors would do good in my nsx?
i dont know what kind of racing motor i can put in my acura nsx any ideas?

A: well leave the car alone

Q: Can somebody give me an estimate for a 1991 Acura NSX Limited Edition Hardtop It has about 21000 miles on it.?
I am 100% sure that it only has 21000 miles.

A: 6 digit odometer so miles should be correct - as long as the condition supports the mileage. There is no value adjustment in Kelly Blue Book for the Limited Edition Hard Top. Book is 21,400/28,600 wholesale/retail. Those figures include a 2,700 add for the low miles already. 100 more if it has leather. If this vehicle is in MINT condition - there will be collector value associated with it. Only if it's in MINT condition, it would be worth $35k or more. It it is just excellent condition, figure $28k -$30k If only average condition - I wouldn't buy it for any more than $20k All those values assume the vehicle is all ORIGINAL. If the radio has been hacked up and the vehicle has been modified - use your own judgement and start from the $28k figure and go down. Great car though, if it's really nice, the value should only go up. If you are going to use it as a daily driver, don't buy a mint condition one.

Q: Does anyone know where I can learn about Acura NSX's? ?

Q: Opinions of the 2005 Acura NSX ?
I heard there maybe one released in 08... I live in the San Franscico Bay area. It seems to be a rare car here. I love the looks of it though ! And being an Acura, it should last well over 100k miles...

A: It is a nice fast, luxury car. It goes from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and has a top speed of 165mph. That is the exact same specs of the 2001 Nissan Skyline GT-R. It has a 290HP V6 engine. It is a very reliable car becase it is made by Acura.

Q: can you swap an acura integra GSR thorttle into an acura NSX thorttle?
cars

A: no , you have two different intake manifolds . also the integra is a 4 cylinder versus a nsx , which is a V6 .

Q: where is the acura nsx made? us or abroad?

A: It's not actually going to be made any longer, but when it has been in production - it's been built in the Japanese cities of Tochigi and Suzuka.

Q: how much is a acura nsx 2000?

A: I'd say about $54,000.00 depending on mileage, etc.

Q: why did Acura stop making the NSX?
i thought they had a good thing going for them. they had the only true sports car from japan and they go and stop making it. i've heard rumors that they're bringing it back in a few years, but why did they stop?

A: As a 'hardcore' Honda & Acura 'nut', I try to keep up on the various blogs & sites (e.g., Acurazine & Temple of VTEC). I might recommend both to you, they are the definitive source for answers to the kind of question you asked, and to a lot more... Essentially Honda stopped production of their NSX for two reasons: 1. The engine had not been updated to where it could pass ever stringent emission control standards. 2. Honda just wasn't selling enough of them to make the venture worthwhile. The car was hand-built, meaning they could not enjoy economies of scale in production...that kept the price high. Related to #2, IMO, the general (but errant) perception is that if a car is not imbued with gobs of horsepower, then it's not worthy of 'supercar' status. The NSX however still proves that's it's a supercar as it lives on on the racing circuit. And there are enough NSXes out there running with both superchargers & turbochargers, cranking out well over 500 hp...still winning races against newer competitors. In any event, the mid-engine NSX rightfully reigns among a class of first-rate sports cars...among the best ever produced. It is superbly balanced, handles great, accelerates very well (4.7 sec 0-60 with it's normally aspirated 3.2L DOHC V6), and brakes well too. Moreover, it's quite robust as one would expect for a Honda. It's also sedate around town, but lively on the track...a distinctive of Honda design that runs true across their lineup of vehicles. Even though the NSX became a bit dated (introduced in '92, and still ran in near orginal iteration when discontinued ~ '05), it featured numerous innovative features...some of which are only recently trickling down across the breadth of the automotive market (Honda licenses its technologies to folks like Toyota, etc.): - Variable valve timing, also employing a secondary, high lift cam (among first production VTEC engine produced) - Programmable Fuel Injection system, employing an algorithm to optimize engine performance - superb flow through the engine - Variable Volume Induction, (VVI), creating mild supercharge effect at the lower RPMs - Use of titanium in critical engine components - Ground effects aerodynamics to the chassis for enhanced high speed handling - Highest output/displacement in its class for the early '90s era (Honda motors still excel in this area, note S2000 engine's output) Honda's CEO has announced a successor to the NSX. Actually, Honda was to have already released it, but it's still delayed do to enginering issues relative to it's basic design. Speculations abound...allegedly Honda claims it will outfit the new NSX with a V10 motor, however, Honda has a way of surprising the masses...who knows just what the next NSX will really be like. One thing though...whatever form it takes, it WILL be a supercar, and it will embody numerous innovations that Honda continues to be known the world over for... ''Honda, the Power of Dreams''

Q: acura NSX - what year is the best???
performance mostly - http://www.khulsey.com/nsx.jpeg

A: 97 and newer, the nsx-T model is fastest. the ones before are 0-60 from between 5.2-5.8, and the newer ones from 97 are between 4.5-4.8 also, the newer the car and less kilometers on it, the better performance youll get out of it naturally. and engine is like a human, once it starts to get old and worn down it starts to get slower and less efficient. good luck, they are sweet asss cars.
